    Description

    The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) has a requirement for the purchase and delivery of seven (7) BMW
    R 1250RT-P motorcycles and ancillary items such as but not limited to vehicle manuals, preventative maintenance replacement parts kit list, warranty letter(s) and initial parts kit, in accordance with the specifications in Annex A - Requirements.

    The RCMP follows the Michigan State Police Vehicle Evaluation Program (Model 2023 most recent publication) for approved make and models to conduct police work effectively and safely. The only motorcycles that get tested are those provided by the manufacturers, which are purpose built as police motorcycles. Substitute products will not be considered.

    Basis of selection:
    A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
