Description
The National Research Council (NRC) Energy, Mining and Environment (EME) has a requirement for the supply of one Gas chromatograph to conduct the on-line analysis of permanent gases, including hydrogen, argon/oxygen, nitrogen, methane, carbon monoxide, and carbon dioxide, and hydrocarbons C2 to C4 (ethylene, ethane, propylene, propane), via dual TCD’s on argon (or nitrogen) and helium (or hydrogen) carriers.
Because of the potential for high water content, this unit must be set up for high-temperature, on-line analysis with high-temperature valves, high-temperature actuators, and high-temperature pneumatic lines. Because of the potential for corrosive gases, all sample wetted lines must be resistant to corrosive materials.
