    NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT

    Radio Frequency (RF) Shielded Blankets for the Department of National Defence (DND).

    DND requires the purchase of RF Shielded Blankets which can be both draped over assets and also hung, preventing RF energy from reaching areas protected by the RF Shielded Blankets.

    Tendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.

    Canadian Content: The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.

    Nature of Requirement:

    DND is responsible for the testing and maintenance of RF and Electro Magnetic Interference (EMI) sensitive electronics equipment, which could be damaged if exposed to uncontrolled RF/EMI energy.

    The requirement in its entirety, is detailed within the RFP at Annex “A” Requirement.

    Delivery Date: 28 March 2024

    Competitive Procurement Strategy: A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical evaluation criteria to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.

    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.

    Security Requirements: This contract does not include security requirements.
