    Description

    Steveston Paramount Building 25 - New Electrical System

    Fisheries and Oceans Canada requires a new electrical distribution system with fully electrically equipped with lights, receptacles, sensory and controls for a newly constructed Industrial and Commercial Building (Building 25) located in Steveston Paramount, 12740 Trites Road, Richmond, BC, V7E 3R8.

    The new electrical system includes and not limited to:

    1. A fully equipped new low voltage electrical room within the new Building 25, 120/208/347/600, and 277/480V, 3 Phase complete with 75kVA, 480:120/208 3PH transformer, distribution panels, breakers, metering and all required grounding and bonding of all new equipment.
    2. Provision and installation of new grounding and bonding of all new equipment in accordance with the CEC.
    3. Provision and installation of a new Central Distribution Panel (CDP) 600A, 347/600V, 3PH, 4W, and a new house panel at 400A, 3Phase, 4W, 84CCT within the new electrical room.
    4. Provision and installation of new heaters, data outlets, power receptacles, lighting, lighting controls and all miscellaneous devices throughout the building.
    5. Provision and installation of complete connection of all mechanical devices, and power for new lift charger.
    6. Commissioning

    This work is to be conducted from contract award date to July 31, 2024.

    This is a first phase (Phase one) of a two-phase competition: the first phase will pre-qualify bidders based on mandatory requirements as per the attached Request for Qualifications; second phase (Phase two) will invite the qualified bidders to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The list of pre-qualified bidders resulting from Phase One will be valid for a period of 60 days upon notification of meeting the mandatory requirements or upon award of contract in Phase Two whichever comes first.
