    DESCRIPTION OF WORK
    Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) 's Departmental Project Management Office (DPMO) requires services for a maximum of four (4) P.5 Project Executive - Level 3, as and when requested, to guide the numerous project initiatives to ensure they are optimally developed, designed and delivered to achieve ECCC's strategic business objectives.

    INTRODUCTION
    Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) 's Departmental Project Management Office (DPMO) provides support to the departmental branches as required which is responsible for:
    •Develop, enhance, implement, maintain and support project management policies/guidelines/standards and governance for the ECCC project manager (PM) community.
    •Provide project oversight to ensure compliance with the ECCC Project Management Framework.
    •Support PMs and senior management in achieving project success.
    •Track and produce project portfolio performance reports.
    •Lead the completion of the Organizational Project Management Capacity Assessment.
    •Liaise with Treasury Board Secretariat on project-related initiatives (Policy Reset, GoC Project Strategy, Project Complexity and Risk Assessment submissions).
    •Build and develop the ECCC PM community (training and outreach); andServe as a special advisor to the Department on project management issues.

    OBJECTIVE
    P.5 Project Executive Level 3 resources will provide project oversight and advice to various project Technical Authorities, Branch Directors, and Project Managers to ensure that the various project initiatives are properly structured, have appropriate tools and are managed using project management best practices, so that the projects can be optimally delivered within the plan timeframe and budget.

    CONTRACT DURATION
    The contract period is from date of award to March 31, 2024, with an irrevocable option to extend it for up to two additional one-year periods
