This requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada, Marcel Caron community correctional center.

Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.
The Correctional Service is looking for a contractor with a license from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) in subcategory 13.3 -Fire extinguishing systems, authorized to install automatic water fire extinguishing systems, fire pipes, connection to the existing aqueduct network, as well as to the existing pipe network and cabinet and in order to perform the work as described in the specification.
Objectives: The contractor must carry out:
The installation of a new pipe network
The Installation of sprinklers on a three-story building.
The Installation of a fire collector for municipal fire service with pump truck, on the external surface of the building.
The installation of a sprinkler from the existing water inlet of building classification of use group C.
Deliverables: The deliverable is to install a collector in the building, a pipe network without any pre-action device, the installation of sprinklers, and to completely activate the sprinkler network. The contractor must provide all accessories, all equipment and supplies required for their start-up and proper operation.
There will be a mandatory site visit. (See detail bid solicitation document)

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within thirteen (13) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
