Title: Removal and Disposal of three vessels in Ahousaht, British Columbia
OBJECTIVES OF THE REQUIREMENT
This contract is to remove and dispose of three (3) vessels located in Ahousaht, BC: Ropo, Faering and Johnny Canuck.
SCOPE OF WORK
The work to be conducted is to remove three partially submerged vessels located at Ahousaht Harbour, BC. The work requires a barge and crane. The vessels need to be transited on the barge in containment for the transit to the deconstruction site.
PERIOD OF WORK
Work is to be completed from Contract award to and all deliverables must be provided by three (3) weeks from Contract award.
SECURITY
There is no security requirement for this contract. The Company working under this contract must not be given access to sensitive information or assets, and must be escorted at all times while on DFO premises.
TRADE AGREEMENTS
The requirement is subject to the Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement (CCFTA), Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA), Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (CKFTA), Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement, and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the mandatory evaluation criteria as detailed in the Supply Arrangement as detailed in the Service Request Form. Bidders’ Proposals must clearly demonstrate that they meet all Mandatory Requirements for the proposal to be considered for further evaluation. Proposals not meeting the mandatory criteria will be excluded from further consideration.
MANDATORY CRITERIA
The Bidder must submit their bid, Part 2 of the Service Request Form, duly completed and signed with the preliminary Vessel Recycling Plan, the Pricing Schedule, insurance certificate and all other required documentation.
COMPREHENSIVE LAND CLAIMS AGREEMENTS
The procurement is not subject to any Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.
SELECTION METHOD
The basis of selection is Lowest Compliant Bid.
SMALL VESSEL DISPOSAL SERVICES SUPPLY ARRANGEMENT
This requirement is limited solely to supply arrangement holders under the Small Vessel Disposal Services supply arrangement EVC01-202004/B. Vendors who are interested in being qualified under this Supply Arrangement are encouraged to contact the Supply Arrangement Authority at paebad.apwahv@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca for information.
