    Description
Defence Construction Canada – Request for Abbreviated Proposals (RFAP) for Inspection, Testing and Minor Repair (ITM) Services of Fire Detection and Suppression Systems:
Project No WESFLS23, Dundurn, Shilo and Winnipeg

In accordance with the rules, regulations, statutes, guidelines and the professional associations of the provinces where the project will be carried out, Defence Construction Canada (DCC) is calling for Abbreviated Proposals from consulting firms to establish three (3) Service Contracts to provide “as and when required” inspection, testing and minor repair services for fire detection and suppression systems, specific to Department of National Defence (DND) requirements in Dundurn, Shilo and Winnipeg.

Information provided by the Proponents will be evaluated using the established criteria in the RFAP. The objective of this RFAP is to select one (1) firm who will sign three (3) separate Service Contracts with DCC, one for each region. The selected firm will be one with the highest total score.

The Security Requirements for this project are identified in the RFAP Documents.

The ITM service contract will be for a period of 3 years. If mutually agreeable between the Contractor and DCC, the contract may be extended for up to two (2) additional three (3) year periods beyond the initial period. Refer to the RFAP document for additional information.

Firms that consider themselves qualified to provide these services are invited to submit their Abbreviated Proposals through the MERX Electronic Bidding System on or before the closing date and time indicated on the Electronic Bidding System.

Proponents can obtain contract award results from the DCC Website at Contract Activity - Defence Construction Canada (dcc-cdc.gc.ca)
