    Description
    The Request for information is an invitation to qualified transportation companies to submit Information and written Statement of Qualifications outlining their ability to provide transportation services. The School Division seeks the most advantageous option to manage transportation services effectively and efficiently.

    Requirements
    Buses:
    Lease all Buses to School Division (*School Division currently owns all Buses, this requirement would mean replacing every school division owned bus when it reaches the end life and providing more buses as required)

    School Division provides all Buses, where required contractor provides buses on an annual lease

    Provide Spare buses by daily rates when required in emergency situations

    Provide Spare Full-size class 30 passenger 2 wheelchair when require in emergency situations

    Operation:
    Provide Drivers for all Buses (including all School Division owned buses)

    Provided Drivers for lease Buses

    Regular Runs (AM & PM) up to 44 routes

    Kindergarten mid-day route -in, out and about. (Moving kindergarten from daycare to school, afternoon route occurring over noon)

    Field Trips

    Ridership program delivery (Evacuation safety drills given twice a year)

    Scheduled practical arts route

    Special needs route

    Drivers to cover all routes requested

    Maintenance
    Provide Maintenance for all Buses

    Shared responsibility with School Division and provide Maintenance for half the fleet

    Responsible for general maintenance fluids etc.; for all Buses

    Responsible for all mechanical diagnostics, repairs & third-party repair for all Buses

    Responsible for regular bus washing for all Buses

    Staffing
    Yard Supervisor

    Provide driver support and training

    Day to day bus maintenance

    Enforce PT policies & practices

    Reporting
    Ability to provide reports in form and format required by the School Division

    Ability to provide report and Invoicing in excel format
