    Description
The Government of Manitoba as represented by Manitoba Labour, Consumer Protection and Government Services is soliciting bids from qualified Contractors who can perform and provide Workplace Safety Trainings and Equipment Services to its various Government departments on an “as and when needed” basis.
The Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health Act (C.C.S.M. c. W210) and Regulations set out minimum requirements reflecting accepted industry practices in workplace health and safety issues. The Government of Manitoba has workplace safety and health programs in place throughout the various departments. It is recognized that every workplace is different and the best way to prevent injuries and occupational illnesses may vary from one workplace and/or job activity to another. A program developed for one area may not meet the needs and specific challenges of another.
