Request for Proposal For Surgical Robotic System

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for a Surgical Robotic System for Minimally Invasive Surgery not limited to Urology, Gynecology, General Surgery, ENT and Thoracic as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
Shared Health is looking to establish a long-term partnership with a Proponent for the supply of a Surgical Robotic System for Minimally Invasive Surgery.

The purpose of this RFP is to:
 

1. receive proposals that meet the requirements of the RFP and contain sufficient information for Shared Health to identify a top ranked Proponent. Proposals will be analyzed, and Proponents may be asked to meet with Shared Health to provide additional information as per this RFP process; and

 

2. establish a contract between the top ranked Proponent and Shared Health to provide the equipment and consumables as outlined in this RFP.

The Proponents should submit option(s) for Post-warranty services which may or may not form part of this Agreement. As a member of the Canadian Medical Equipment Protection Plan (CMEPP), Shared Health reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to accept any proposal submitted with or without accepting the proposal for Post-Warranty services submitted or associated therewith, if any.
