PROJECT DESCRIPTION: To provide furniture for the Red River Valley School Division at their school in St. Malo, MB which is currently undergoing an expansion at 189 St. Malo Street, St. Malo MB R0A 1T0. Furnishings are for the classrooms.
GENERAL INFORMATION: Red River Valley School Division is seeking quotes for various classroom furniture for the expansion of École St. Malo School which is to be occupied November 15, 2023. Any questions concerning this RFQ should be emailed to Dave Funk (dfunk@rrvsd.ca) no later than Tuesday, April 18, 2023 in order to guarantee a timely response prior to the closing date. The quotation submission due date is Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. CST. A response to this RFQ and all supporting documents should be emailed to rcollette@rrvsd.ca with the subject line ESM Expansion Furniture. Receipt of submission will be confirmed by email. Delivery, assembly and installation is to be completed prior to FRIDAY NOVEMBER 3, 2023 UNLESS OWNER ADVISES OF PROJECT DELAYS.
RFQ’s received after the deadline date indicated above will not be considered. Vendors may not make modifications to their quotation after the closing date, except as allowed by the owner during negotiations.
Red River Valley School Division will not be obligated in any way by a vendor’s response to this RFQ. The submitted proposal and all supporting documents become the property of Red River Valley School Division.
Submissions will not be opened in public and all information will remain confidential. Information pertaining to Red River Valley School Division obtained by the vendor as a result of participating in this project is confidential and must not be disclosed without written authorization. It is the responsibility of each respondent to inquire about and clarify any requirements of this RFQ request that are unclear prior to the submission deadline. Red River Valley School Division will NOT be liable for any cost incurred by any party in responding to this RFQ or for the preparation or submission of any alternate proposal. Quantities actually purchased may vary slightly from the original RFQ.
It is expected that purchase orders to the successful vendor will be provided by May 3, 2023.
Submissions shall contain complete product dimensions, all warranty information, on-site warranty repair, parts and sales force and local customer support capabilities. Prices quoted for items must be in Canadian funds and include any charges for freight to site in St. Malo, assembly, installation, leveling and clean-up. Taxes should be shown separately.
Respondent with the lowest price may not necessarily be awarded order.
SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: Red River Valley School Division is seeking experienced and qualified vendors of educational furniture to respond to this RFQ. Any product offered must comply with and meet all Provincial (Manitoba) and Federal standards and regulations. All proposed items must be well built and hold up in a busy educational facility. Documentation required for each item:
