This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Provision of Electrical Supplies, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The scope of this RFP includes day-to-day electrical supply requirements as requested by the Purchaser, funded through regular operating and budgeted funds.
Requirements that are funded by Manitoba Health and Seniors Care Safety & Security funding, requirements using external funds (i.e. donations) that have specified restrictions, and Capital Planning requirements may also fall within the scope of this RFP at the request of the Purchaser; however, the Purchaser reserves the right to use alternate suppliers or get competitive quotes.
The intent of the Coordinating Entity is to enter into an Agreement with one proponent. It is anticipated that the Agreement will be effective on or about December 1, 2023.
The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for one optional term of two years.
