This Assignment (9022-E-0003) includes a follow up of the biennial travel time studies conducted for the Ministry in 2020 to update information on the operations of 400 series highways, expressways and selected arterial roads that are under the jurisdiction of the Regional Municipality of Durham, Halton and Peel during morning, mid-day and evening peak periods by purchasing data and conducting surveys. Carry out separate runs on HOV and GPL lanes during AM and PM peak periods of QEW, Hwy 400, Hwy 401, Hwy 403, Hwy 404, Hwy 410, Hwy 417 and Hwy 427. This study also assesses the change in the degree of congestion and operational conditions on the road network during peak periods since the last study was undertaken.
