    D2. SCOPE OF WORK
    D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the Provision of Building Cleaning Services at the following locations, for the period starting September 15, 2023 to March 31, 2025 with the option of four (4) mutually agreed upon one (1) year extensions:
    (a) 495 Archibald Street, approximately 4,880 sq. ft.;
    (b) 866 Rue St. Joseph, approximately 411 sq. ft.;
    (c) 219 Provencher Blvd., approximately 5,977 sq. ft.;
    (d) 3 Grey Street, approximately 1,164 sq. ft.;
    (e) 960 Thomas Avenue, approximately 26,179 sq. ft.;
    (f) 489 London Street, approximately 7,395 sq. ft.;
    (g) 565 Watt Street, approximately 2,027 sq. ft.;
    (h) 545 Watt Street, approximately 4,810 sq. ft.;
    (i) 180 Poplar Avenue, approximately 6,665 sq. ft.;
    (j) 1050 Henderson Hwy., approximately 17,021 sq. ft.;
    (k) 1400 Rothesay Street, approximately 26,008 sq. ft.;
    (l) 1 Transcona Blvd., approximately 13,138 sq. ft.
    (m) 328 Whittier Avenue West, approximately 5,645 sq. ft.;
    (n) 141 Regent Avenue West, approximately 2,980 sq. ft.;
    (o) 1867 Springfield Road, approximately 3,234 sq. ft.;
    (p) 1229 Springfield Road, approximately 1,533 sq. ft.
    D2.1.1 The City may negotiate the extension option with the Contractor within ninety (90) Calendar Days prior to the expiry date of the Contract. The City shall incur no liability to the Contractor as a result of such negotiations.
    D2.1.2 Changes resulting from such negotiations shall become effective on April 1st of the respective year. Changes to the Contract shall not be implemented by the Contractor without written approval by the Contract Administrator.
    D2.1.3 Proponents are advised that, in future, the City may be participating in collaborative procurement initiatives with other levels of government. Accordingly, extensions to this Contract may not be exercised.
    D2.2 Notwithstanding D2.1, the type and quantity of Work to be performed under this Contract is subject to annual approval of monies therefore in a budget by Council. Proponents are advised that monies have been approved for work up to and including December 31, 2023.
    D2.2.1 In the event that Council does not approve the annual budget for any year during this Contract, the City reserves the right to alter the type or quantity of work performed under this Contract, or to terminate the Contract, upon one hundred and twenty (120) Calendar Days written notice by the Contract Administrator. In such an event, no claim may be made against the City for damages of any kind resulting from the termination, including, but not limited to, on the ground of loss of anticipated profit on Work.
    D2.3 Notwithstanding D2.1, in the event that operational changes result in substantial changes to the requirements for Work, the City reserves the right to alter the type or quantity of work performed under this Contract, or add or delete locations, upon thirty (30) Calendar Days written notice by the Contract Administrator. In such an event, no claim may be made for damages on the ground of loss of anticipated profit on Work.
