Description:
The RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Support of Edge Routing Hardware, as further described herein.
Increased internet bandwidth demands have exceeded Western’s capacity. Therefore, replacement of the routing hardware providing connectivity between the campus and our internet service provider (LARGNET) is required. To accommodate this increase, Western must add physical interfaces that are larger then the current 10 Gig limitation. This purchase will provide redundant routing engines that provide sufficient interface and routing capacity to accommodate internet requirements for the foreseeable future.

This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
Delivery Date:
Hardware delivered on or about April 30, 2024.
Duration of Agreement:
The term of the Agreement is to be for a period of two (2) years, with an option in favour of Western to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for up to four (4) additional one (1) years terms.
