    Description
    Yukon University is looking to prequalify a list of professional firms to complete the Polaris project; a 2834m2 single-storey Science Building structure estimated at $36M. YukonU is interested in the services of a Construction Manager to improve the performance of the project team by providing estimating, constructability, and scheduling services throughout the remainder of the project’s design and construction process. This RFPQ is the first stage of a two stage solicitation. The first stage will esablish the prequalifed sourse list; the second stage will invite proposals from the qualified list with the anticipation of awarding a contract to perform the work. 
    The selected Construction Manager will work with YukonU’s internal project management team and prime consultant teams from preconstruction to construction, commissioning, and handover.
    The project's Issued for Tender (IFT) documents are currently 80% complete, and the Construction Manager will work with the Prime consultant to complete and tender the documents.
    It is anticipated to take approximately two years to complete the building construction, pending implementation approval in early 2024.
