    Description
    VIA is looking for qualified supplier(s) in the following two (2) categories to provide the business lounge and/or office furniture with installation services, as well as the related consulting services (including but not limited to design services, project management services, inventory management services, etc.) on the required basis across VIA’s network all over Canada.

    1) Category A: Furniture for business lounge
    2) Category B: Furniture for office

    The Tenderer can submit the Tender for one or more categories.
    A Tenderer can be selected for one or more categories, or various Tenderers can be selected for the same category. 

    In order to submit the proposal, the Tenderer must be able to comply with the following mandatory criteria: 
    1. Tenderer’s company experiences
           The Tenderer must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of both office furniture and the relevant consulting services.
    1. Tenderer’s project experiences   
          The Tenderer must have completed at least two (2) other projects of similar scope and size (combination of at least 400 workstations/private offices).
    1. The furniture manufacturer must be certified by the specified quality standards      
          The furniture manufacturer must be certified by the following:
          • Certification systems Greenguard and/or Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) – Indoor Air
          • Quality (ISO 90001 - Quality management / ISO 14001 - Environmental management systems, OHSAS 18001 - Occupational safety and health
          • System, Level 2 Certification, based on ANSI/BIFMA e3-2010 furniture durability standard
    1. Guarantee meets ANSI/BIFMA requirements     
          The Tenderer must provide a guarantee that all proposed furniture meets ANSI/BIFMA (Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association) and CSA requirements.
    1. Lead Time
          Tenderer will deliver and install the furniture (including deficiencies corrections) at VIA’s specified locations all over Canada no later than fourteen (14) weeks upon receiving VIA’s confirmation of placed Purchase Order.  
    1.   Installation          
          The Tenderer must be able to provide furniture including installation to any VIA’s specified locations all over Canada (Sub-contractors are accepted).
    1. Shortlisted Tenderer’s showroom visit availability or furniture delivery option
          The shortlisted Tenderers must be able to accommodate VIA’s below request:
    • Either provide the showroom visit option in Eastern Canada (either in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Quebec City) for all the layouts and accompany VIA’s visit;
    • Or deliver furniture as per VIA’s further request for the layouts to VIA’s headquarter in Montreal (address specified in the Scope of Work)
