    REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR
    THE KINSMEN POOL ‘BUTLER’ BUILDING RETROFIT
    REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL NO. P-24-02
     
     
    The City of Pembroke is seeking competitive proposals from qualified Proponents (subject to budget approval) to provide Design-Build services for the removal, design, supply and installation of the walls and roof of the existing Kinsmen Pool Butler building at 426 Herbert Street, Pembroke, ON.  The project scope will generally include the design, removal of existing wall and roof panels, supply and installation of new wall and roof panels including cleaning and preparation of columns, beams, and footings for the new system as well as the removal and reinstallation of electrical and mechanical works as required.

    Mandatory site visits will be conducted on Tuesday February 13th and 14th and will be required to be scheduled by the proponent.
    Hard copy sealed proposals, clearly marked as to contents, will be received by Ms. Marsha Hawthorne, Purchasing Manager/Deputy Treasurer, City of Pembroke, Operations Department, 460 River Road, Pembroke, ON, K8A 1A1 until:

    Proposal documents are available February 1, 2024 and may be obtained, free of charge, through email request to purchasing@pembroke.ca.  Language of proposal submissions is English.  Electronic submissions are not acceptable.  Proposals will be opened immediately following closing time.  There will not be a public opening.

    All questions relating to this proposal request will be received in writing up to and no later than 12:00 pm local time on Thursday, February 15, 2024.

    The procurement of service specified in the proposal document is subject to the provision of the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and the Ontario-Quebec Trade and Cooperation Agreement (OQTCA).

    The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals.  The lowest or any proposals may not necessarily be accepted.
