Description
Through this competitive bid process, EDC intends to do the following:
- Enter into a global agreement to provide travel services for EDC’s head office employees, Canadian regional employees, and for EDC’s offices and representatives overseas.
- Have a designated team of bilingual agents assigned to EDC, with an additional 24/7 support.
- Must be able to restrict booking to certain countries as EDC’s Safety and Security team deems is necessary.
- Offer to travellers an on-line (i.e. self-service) corporate travel booking services.
- This tool should have strong booking automation
- Strong reporting functionality (including carbon capture and spend)
- Air/Rail/Hotel and Car should all be bookable through the tool.
- If the Proponent uses a 3rd party on-line booking tool, the proponent remains directly responsible for its use. EDC will only award one contract to the successful proponent
- and will not consider entering into any 3rd party agreements in relation to the on-line booking tool.
