    Description
    The construction contract administration services assignment is for MTO contract 2023-4099.

    The primary purpose of this project is to improve the overall condition, safety and operational characteristics of Highway 401 eastbound and westbound lanes, from 0.5km East of Westbrook Road Easterly to 1.5km East of Highway 15. This Contract includes structure rehabilitation of the structure of Sydenham Road and Highway 15 underpasses and pavement rehabilitation.

    The structure rehabilitation includes work to the soffit and facia of the structure at Sydenham Road and soffit & abutment repairs on the Structure at Highway 15. The pavement rehabilitation includes micro surfacing strip repairs, rout and seal treatment and select resurfacing by milling and paving in the westbound and eastbound lanes in addition to resurfacing for Sir John A. McDonald Blvd. interchange ramps.

    The service provider will provide an administration office and a full compliment of staff to provide contract administration and inspection services.  The project will be administered using the Contract Administration System (CMS).

    Due to restrictions for single lane closures for Sydenham Structure and paving work, contract administration and inspection services are required for both daytime and overnight periods.

    The assignment is planned over a single year, starting in June 2024 and will extend until February 2025.
