    Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for ‘Package 1 – General Seating & Lounge Seating’ in Port aux Basques, NL.

    The project is located at 175 Hardy’s Arterial Road, Channel-Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.

    The Work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the supply and installation of interior furnishings and assemblies at 175 Hardy’s Arterial Road. More particularly the work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following:
     
    • Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work.
     
    • Interior Design:
      • The supply and installation of Interior Furnishings and Assemblies as defined by the Contract Documents.
     
    • Submittals:
      • Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Delivery Installation Schedule.
      • Preparation, submission and implementation of a Modified Assignment Health and Safety Plan (M-AHASP) that meets the requirements defined by the Marine Atlantic Master Health and Safety Plan (see Appendix A of this Specification).
        • Contractor will be responsible for ensuring appropriate measures are in place to protect their employees in accordance with provisions contained within Federal and Provincial legislation and the Marine Atlantic Health and Safety Plan.  Such measures will ensure that appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is identified by the Contractor prior to mobilization.
      • Provide all closeout submission, warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, as-built drawings, surveys, or any other items as specified.
      • All work as shown on the Project Drawings and as specified herein.

    Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept solicitations in whole or in part.  The lowest or any solicitation will not necessarily be accepted.

    The closing for receipt of tenders will be 2:00PM Atlantic Time, May 21, 2024.

    Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS.

    This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email or other open forms of communication.  Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour.  Late Proposals will not be considered.

    Marine Atlantique Inc. (MAI) invite les fournisseurs qualifiés à soumissionner pour le projet « Forfait 1 – Places assises générales et places assises dans le salon » à Port aux Basques, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador (T.-N.-L.).

    Le projet est situé au 175, artère Hardy’s à Channel-Port-aux-Basques, Terre‑Neuve‑et‑Labrador.

    Les travaux comprennent en général, sans toutefois s’y limiter, l’approvisionnement et l’installation de meubles et de montures intérieurs au 175, artère Hardy’s. Plus précisément, les travaux comprennent, sans toutefois s’y limiter, ce qui suit :
     
    • Mobilisation et démobilisation, y compris toute la main-d’œuvre et tout l’équipement, tel qu’il est précisé et selon les besoins, pour effectuer les travaux.
     
    • Conception intérieure :
      • Approvisionnement et installation de meubles et de montures intérieurs conformément aux documents contractuels.
     
    • Documents à soumettre :
      • Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un calendrier de mise en œuvre de l’installation approuvé.
      • Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un plan de santé et sécurité de l’affectation modifié (PSSAM) qui respecte les exigences établies par le Plan directeur de santé et sécurité de Marine Atlantique (voir l’appendice A à cette spécification).
        • L’entrepreneur devra s’assurer que des mesures appropriées sont en place pour protéger ses employés conformément aux dispositions des lois fédérales et provinciales et du Plan de santé et de sécurité de Marine Atlantique. Ces mesures permettront de s’assurer que l’équipement de protection individuelle (EPI) approprié est identifié par l’entrepreneur avant la mobilisation.
      • Fournir tous les documents de clôture, des garanties, des manuels d’exploitation et d’entretien, des dessins d’après exécution, des levés ou tout autre point tel que précisé.
      • Exécuter tous les travaux indiqués sur les dessins du projet et précisés dans la présente.

    Marine Atlantique se réserve le droit d’accepter des soumissions en tout ou en partie. La soumission la plus basse ou toute autre soumission ne sera pas nécessairement acceptée.

    La date de clôture pour la réception des soumissions sera le 21 mai 2024, à 14 h (heure de l’Atlantique).

    Les propositions doivent être soumises par voie électronique à l’aide de MERX EBS.

    Seules les soumissions envoyées conformément à la méthode précitée seront prises en compte. Les propositions ne seront pas prises en compte si elles sont envoyées par télécopieur, par courriel ou par d’autres moyens de communication ouverts. Les propositions doivent être reçues au plus tard à  la date et à l’heure de clôture. Les propositions tardives ne seront pas prises en compte.
