    Full Title: Professional Consulting Services for Preliminary Design of the Shoal Lake Intake Structure Upgrades and Falcon River Venturi Superstructure Replacement

    D9.          SCOPE OF SERVICES

    D9.1        The Services required under this Contract shall consist of the following:
    (a)   Project Management in accordance with D10;
    (b)   Preliminary Design of the Intake Structure Upgrades in accordance with D11; and
    (c)    Preliminary Design of the Falcon River Venturi Superstructure Replacement in accordance with 
    D12.

    D9.2        The Services required in the Contract shall be in accordance with the City’s Project 
    Management Manual http://winnipeg.ca/infrastructure/asset-management-program/templates- 
    manuals.stm#2  and templates http://winnipeg.ca/infrastructure/asset-management- 
    program/templates-manuals.stm#4 . Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Consultant is being engaged by 
    the City for their professional expertise; the Consultant shall bring to the Consulting Contract 
    Administrator’s attention any aspect of the City’s Project Management Manual or templates which the 
    Consultant is of the opinion is not consistent with good industry practice.

    D9.3        The following shall apply to the Services:
    (a)   City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions

    (b)   Universal Design Policy

    (c)    Should this project include a public engagement aspect, it will be required to meet:

    D9.4        Unless otherwise stated, Appendix D – Definition of Professional Consultant Services
    s) shall be applicable to the provision of Professional
    Engineering services for this Project. These services are specific to Preliminary Design
    services.
    D9.4.1             If a discrepancy occurs between the main body of this RFP and this appendix, the 
    main body of this RFP shall govern.

    D9.5        The funds available for this Contract are $425,000.00.
