This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Coordinating Entity to prospective proponents to submit proposals for The Provision of Purchase and Service of Manual and Powered Wheelchairs for the WRHA Home Care Program and Manitoba Possible, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D) (the “Deliverables”).
The Coordinating Entity, as identified on the cover page, is issuing this RFP and administering the RFP process on behalf of the Purchaser(s) identified in Section B – Material Disclosures of the RFP Particulars (Appendix D).
The purpose of this competitive RFP process is to establish an Agreement by category of Manual and Powered Wheelchairs with one or more Selected Proponents and Shared Health (on behalf of the Manitoba Wheelchair Program) to provide the products and services as outlined in this competitive document.
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of five (5) years, with an option in favour of the Purchaser to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for five (5) additional one (1) option year terms in whole or in part at the discretion of Shared Health.
