    Description
BDC invites suppliers offering audit services of General Information Technology Controls (“GITC”) in the context of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”), to submit a bid for recurring assignments.
BDC wishes to outsource to an external consultant firm the execution of the audit of General Information Technology Controls (“GITC”). This audit will cover the key financial applications in the context of BDC’s Financial Reporting. BDC is not subject to NI 52-109, but follows its guidelines to ensure accuracy and completeness of its quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A. Nevertheless, this audit will provide an assessment of the key GITC controls supporting BDC’s Internal Control over Financial Reporting (“ICFR”) program, which requires this audit to be done annually.
In the interest of effectiveness and efficiency, BDC wants to ensure that its external auditors can rely on these services as part of their audit of BDC's annual consolidated financial statements.
