Shared Health Diagnostic Services and various Respiratory Therapy point-of-care testing sites throughout Manitoba require a blood analysis system which performs Blood Gas, Co-Oximetry, Electrolytes and Metabolites testing with minimal patient sample volume. These devices are intended to be used to perform rapid testing in emergency departments, operating rooms, intensive care units, and clinical laboratories. The supplier is to provide the following: i. system consisting of an analyzer, UPS, associated software and software licenses, and interface with the provincial laboratory information system (LIS); ii. service maintenance on all leased instrumentation and associated software; iii. the proposed system on a reagent lease basis where the supplier retains responsibility for maintenance and service of all leased instrumentation and associated software; and iv. all consumables, reagents, calibrators and kits including quality control and calibration verification materials compatible with the system, to perform the following tests: a. Blood gases: pH, pCO2, pO2 b. Co-Oximetry: SO2, tHb, O2Hb, COHb, MetHb, HHb, HbF c. Electrolytes: Na+, K+, Cl-, Ca++ d. Metabolites: Glucose, Lactate, Total Bilirubin
