Marine Atlantic Inc. (MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Maintenance Building Heating Upgrades in Port aux Basques, NL. The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal at Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador. The primary work area will be at the Maintenance Building on the Terminal property.
The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: • Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. • Supply and install a new 600V electrical panel to support new electric heat. • Supply and install new waste oil heaters, complete with tank, in the truck bay. • Supply and install new electric heaters throughout the First floor, as indicated on the drawings.
Submittals: • Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Construction Schedule. • Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Safety Plan. • Preparation, submission, and implementation of an approved Site-Specific Environmental Protection Plan. • Preparation and submission of a Project Execution Methodology. Marine Atlantic reserves the right to accept tenders in whole or in part. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.

A site visit will be held on Monday, September 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM Newfoundland Time at the site in Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.

The closing for receipt of tenders will be 2:00PM Atlantic Time, September 30, 2025. Proposals must be submitted by electronic means using the MERX EBS. This will be the only method of response accepted for consideration. Proposals will not be considered if submitted by fax, email, or other open forms of communication. Proposals must be received by the closing date and hour. Late proposals will not be considered.

Modernisation du chauffage du bâtiment d’entretien
Port aux Basques, T.-N.-L.

Marine Atlantique Inc. invite les fournisseurs qualifiés à présenter des offres pour assurer la modernisation du chauffage du bâtiment d’entretien à Port aux Basques (T.-N.-L.).

Le projet est situé au terminal de traversier de Marine Atlantique à Port aux Basques, Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador. La principale zone de travail sera le bâtiment d’entretien situé sur le terrain du terminal.

Les travaux comprennent, sans s’y limiter, les éléments suivants :
 

• La mobilisation et la démobilisation, y compris toute la main-d’œuvre et l’équipement spécifiés et nécessaires à l’exécution des travaux.
• Fournir et installer un nouveau panneau électrique de 600V pour soutenir le nouveau chauffage électrique.
• Fournir et installer de nouveaux chauffages à l’huile usée, avec réservoir, au poste des camions.
• Fournir et installer de nouveaux chauffages électriques au premier étage, comme indiqué sur les plans.

Documents à soumettre :

• Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un calendrier approuvé des travaux.
• Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un plan de sécurité approuvé spécifique au site.
• Préparation, soumission et mise en œuvre d’un plan de protection approuvé de l’environnement spécifique au site.
• Préparation et soumission d’une méthodologie d’exécution du projet.

Marine Atlantique se réserve le droit d’accepter des offres en tout ou en partie.  L’offre la plus basse ne sera pas nécessairement acceptée.

Une visite des lieux aura lieu le lundi 22 septembre 2025 à 14 h, heure de Terre-Neuve, sur le site de Port aux Basques (Terre-Neuve).

La date limite de réception des offres est fixée au 30 septembre 2025 à 14 h, heure de l’Atlantique.

Les propositions doivent être soumises au moyen de la fonction de soumission électronique de MERX.

Il s’agit de la seule méthode de réponse acceptée. Les propositions ne seront pas prises en considération si elles sont soumises par télécopie, par courriel ou par d’autres formes ouvertes de communication.  Les propositions doivent être reçues avant la date et l’heure de clôture.  Les propositions reçues après le délai ne seront pas prises en considération.
