Description
D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of installation of water mains on 
Litz Place, Appleton Street, and Whellams Lane all within the City of Winnipeg.

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Installation of approximately 810m of 150mm and 300mm diameter PVC water main pipe by 
trenchless methods;
(b)   Abandonment of existing water mains as required;
(c)    Removal/abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required;
(d)   Abandonment of existing valve pits as required;
(e)   Installation of valves and hydrant assemblies;
(f)    Reconnection or renewal of water service connections; and
(g)   Restoration of pavement and boulevard areas.
