    Description
    D2. SCOPE OF WORK
    D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of supply of a 2500 kVA spare transformer with additional rating (KNAN/KNAF rated cooling) of 3300 kVA and the replacement of two (2) existing 15kV feeders including upgrades to associated pole mounted equipment.
    D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
    (a) Disconnection and removal of two (2) 15kV pole mounted gang operated switches, and installation of bypass connections to accommodate removal of switches;
    (b) Replacement of existing 15kV feeder associated with Rannock Substation from pole mounted equipment to existing 2500 kVA transformer, including:
    (i) Replacement of associated 15kV gang operated switch with new 25kV gang operated switch;
    (ii) Replacement of associated 15kV power fuses with new 25kV power fuses.
    (c) Replacement of existing 15kV feeder associated with Headingley Substation from pole mounted equipment to existing 2500 kVA transformer, including:
    (i) Installation of new pole, including new cables to connect new devices to existing pole;
    (ii) Installation of new 25kV gang operated switch;
    (iii) Replacement of associated 15kV power fuses with new 25kV power fuses.
    (d) Provide new spare 2500 kVA 12.6kV/600V oil filled substation type padmounted transformer;
    (e) Coordination and approvals with MB Hydro for outages and supplied equipment;
    (f) Coordination and approvals associated with permits;
    (g) Disconnection and reconnection of existing overhead lines;
    (h) Grounding upgrade;
    (i) Excavation, shoring and backfilling as required;
    (j) Grading of area surrounding existing poles;
    (k) Modifications to existing fence and installation of new gate;
    (l) Installation of concrete pads around pole with operable equipment;
    (m) Site restoration and clean up;
    (n) All other work as detailed in the drawings and technical specifications and;
    (o) Maintaining and coordinating of construction to ensure continued power and operation on the WEWPCC facility. Only short power transfer outages are permitted.
    D2.3 The following shall apply to the Services:
    (a) City of Winnipeg Green Building Policy: New City-Owned Buildings and major additions;
