Description
McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of a Lab-Scale Torque Rheometer in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.

(a)    Proponents must propose on a laboratory-scale torque rheometer for the mixing of thermoplastics with a bowl capacity to handle no less than 50 cm3 of material and no more than 100 cm3 of material, with an ideal capacity between 50 cm3 to 60 cm3.
(b)    The mixing chamber for the torque rheometer must be capable of a maximum temperature of at least 350 oC.
(c)    Drive unit for the torque rheometer must be capable of a maximum torque of at least 160 Nm under sustained operations.
