Description
McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of a Multiphoton Intravital Upright Confocal Microscope in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.  his microscope is required to conduct research in the areas of thrombosis and hemostasis in animal models at the Thrombosis and Atherosclerosis Research Institute (TaARI).    
Bidders must quote the entire bid.  Partial bids will not be accepted.  

The proposals shall include a Multiphoton Intravital Upright Confocal Microscope capable of high-resolution image processing and come equipped as detailed in Section 5 Specifications and Rated Criteria, while also providing capacity for future expansion. The proposal will include software to operate the system and conduct data analysis. Proposals must also include training, installation, delivery and one (1) year warranty.  This purchase is to be financed in part by the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), whose mandate is to strengthen the capacity of Canadian universities, colleges, research hospitals, and non-profit research institutions to carry out world-class research and technology development that benefits Canadians (www.innovation.ca).
