Description:
The RFP is an invitation to submit offers for the Supply of Human Anatomy Teaching Models and Skeletal Demonstration Equipment, as further described herein.
The Faculty of Health Sciences requires a comprehensive collection of anatomical teaching models to support undergraduate and graduate instruction in human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, rehabilitation sciences, nursing, and related health professions education.
The models will be used in classroom, tutorial, and simulation-based learning environments to enhance students’ understanding of human structure and function. Equipment will support hands-on learning activities involving musculoskeletal anatomy, neuroanatomy, visceral anatomy, skeletal systems, joint biomechanics, and pelvic health.
The equipment will be used by multiple academic programs and cohorts throughout the academic year. Models must be sufficiently durable to withstand repeated handling by large student groups while maintaining anatomical accuracy, detail, and educational value.
Quantity and model mix sufficient to support simultaneous use by multiple (10+) student groups. The following minimal order quantities are anticipated:
