Description:
York is seeking qualified Proponent(s) to supply and deliver athletic apparel, accessories and related services for varsity teams, camps, programs, and retail operations, as set out and in accordance with the requirements and specifications outlined in this RFP. Proponents are to provide best and most competitive pricing for specified products, as well as a comprehensive suite of services and support to advance York’s various programs, its retail operations, and objectives.
Athletics & Recreation has a desire to look at all alternatives presented through this process and to then select the solution(s) that provide the best overall value. In this RFP, best overall value is defined in terms of providing a combination of benefits such as product quality, price competitiveness, promotional support, customer support, marketing partnership opportunities, retail merchandising support, and assistance with marketing and promotional support for the E-Commerce operations.
York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX (www.MERX.com) for this competitive bid prior to the closing date and time. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

This procurement is covered by Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
Delivery Date:
Tentative start date of the resulting agreement would be November 1, 2026. Usual ordering cycle takes place as a one bulk order during the summer (for delivery in early fall) and small as-needed orders thereafter throughout the year.
Duration of Agreement:
The initial term of the Agreement shall be for forty-eight (48) months, with one (1) optional twelve (12) month extension; for a potential Term of sixty (60) months.

Negotiation:
York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
