Title: Audio Advertising for Traffic Management Services
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING COMPLETELY AND CAREFULLY PAYING ATTENTION TO ALL REQUIREMENTS AND DATES.
CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking Proposals from industry in response to its Request for Proposal (“RFP) for Insert Audio Advertising for Traffic Management Services.
An Agreement resulting from this RFX may potentially be for three (3) years with two (2) irrevocable option(s) to extend for two (2) year period(s).
1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:
The key objectives in issuing this RFP are as follows:
CBC/Radio-Canada seeks to buy one audio ad delivery system for a podcast environment. The solution must offer a range of targetability for advertisers. The solution must also deliver an array of ad metrics compliant with the current podcast metrics governed by the IAB. As CBC/Radio-Canada may have content rights restrictions the solutions also need to have the flexibility of allowing for self hosting and most offer a robust open API to allow any configuration that CBC/Radio-Canada sees fit for their situation.
2. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
This RFP is open only to Proponents who meet each of the mandatory requirements listed in Appendix A Scope of Work and SOW Response Grid.
3. TO OBTAIN THE RFP DOCUMENTATION
CBC/Radio-Canada uses MERX (https://www.merx.com/public/solicitations/open) and from here you can type CBC or Radio-Canada to manage its solicitation process. All Proponents must obtain the RFP documents through MERX.

5. RECEIPT OF PROPOSALS
Proposals must be received by CBC/Radio-Canada, via electronic submission to the MERX Website (www.MERX.com) no later than 8 September 2026 at 8:00:00 pm, Eastern Time.
The Proponent has the sole responsibility for the timely receipt of a Proposal by CBC/Radio-Canada. The Supplier/Proponent cannot transfer such responsibility to CBC/Radio-Canada. The MERX clock shall be used to determine the time of receipt of the Proposal, whether the time indicated on such clock is accurate or not.
Partial Proposals, amendments or revisions which are received after the date and time for the RFP Submission Closing Date will not be accepted.
This RFP is subject to Chapter Five (Government Procurement) of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
CBC/Radio-Canada retains the right to negotiate with Proponents on any procurement.
