Roof Re-shingling and Repair

    Description
    The Town of Leaf Rapids is requesting quotations to repair and reshingle a roof on a two-story apartment block in the Town. The roof is approximately 79' by 50'. Please see the attached document for further information regarding the roof.
    1. SCOPE OF WORK
      1. Locations
        1. Apartment Complex, D Leaf Rapids
      2. Removal and disposal of the existing shingles and ice guard.
      3. Replace any plywood underneath the shingles that are rotten, soft or unsafe as required. Indicate price for As Required Work on Bid Form.
      4. Supply and install new ice guard
      5. Supply and install new shingles
        1. The Town prefers brown or grey shingles. Indicate color on Bid Form.
        2. The Contractors are responsible for taking their own measurements.
        3. Pictures show approximate measurements (reference only).
      6. Remove, dispose and replace drip edges as required. Indicate price for As Required Work on Bid Form.
     
    1. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
      1. The Contractor is responsible for all safety requirements of the job.
        1. Job hazard analysis and other applicable safety documentation are the responsibility of the Contractor.
      2. The Contractor shall maintain a clean work area and shall ensure that their work does not interfere with daily operations of the respective job site.
      3. All job sites are to be left in a clean, presentable condition upon completion of the Work, including the removal of any accumulated garbage.
      4. Hours of work are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays unless other arrangements have been made between The Public Works Manager or designate and the Contractor. Work completed outside of these hours must be in accordance with existing Town of Leaf Rapids Bylaws.
      5. The work shall be completed no later than November 16, 2026.
     
    1. PRICING & PAYMENT
      1. Provide pricing on the Bid Form for the following:
        1. Remove, dispose and replace shingles and ice guard;
        2. As Required Work;
        3. As Required Materials.
      2. Invoices will be paid with Net 30 payment terms upon receipt of invoice and work being deemed satisfactory.
      3. Payment will be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT).
     
    1. WARRANTY
      1. Provide warranty information for workmanship and materials on the Bid Form.
