Description
Shared Health, the “Coordinating Entity” is issuing this Request for Proposal with the intent to select one proponent whose large volume infusion pump and related accessories, consumables and service best meet the requirements specified in this Request for Proposal (RFP). There are approximately 7,000 Large Volume infusion pumps in use in the province of Manitoba. It is the intent of the Coordinating Entity to replace and select one pump that meets all clinical care setting requirements; however, a proponent’s pump may not be clinically acceptable for all clinical care settings, therefore, the Coordinating Entity reserves the right to award to one or more shortlisted suppliers and adjust the purchase quantity over the term of the agreement. This is a multi-stage procurement initiative that requires proponents to provide recorded vendor demonstrations at time of RFP submission. Following the submission of written proposals, and where proponents meet the mandatory business and technical requirements, the proponent will be required to participate in a clinical tabletop evaluation using clinical scenario-based requirements to demonstrate safety, usability and other significant parameters related to their proposed device.
