    A1. No, as listed in the Invitation to Tender document, the requirements state that vendors are expected to provide a flat rate pricing for embroidery, flashing, and screen-printing services in order for Client Departments to anticipate costs of goods being purchased prior to award.

    Q2) How long do the prices quoted have to be valid for: the first year of the term, the complete initial term of 2 years, or the initial term and all the optional years?

    A2) Prices must be held firm for the initial duration of the contract period. Acceptance of any price changes for contract renewable option years is solely the discretion of PNB, if deemed to be reasonable and based on market conditions, not to exceed CPI.

    SCOPE
    Strategic Procurement at SNB, on behalf of PNB is tendering for the supply and delivery of Clothing on an "as and when" required basis for a two-year period from May 15, 2023 to April 30, 2025, with three, one-year mutually agreeable optional renewals. This tender also consists of required embroidery and screen printing services. If a vendor chooses not to accept the option year, SNB reserves the right to re-tender, re-award or delete the items in question. PNB does not guarantee a specific amount of business supplied to any participant of this tender.

    Estimated quantity contract to supply and deliver clothing on an as/when required basis to various locations.

    AWARD CRITERIA
    Vendors are not required to submit a bid on every item listed below. However, the intent
    of this tender is to award to vendor(s) who is capable of bidding on the majority of the items. (This will help increase efficiencies in ordering and deliveries. PNB reserves the right to split this award to obtain the lowest pricing possible.)

    SNB reserves the right to award multiple contracts to a Vendor(s) for their respective product(s), where deemed in the best interest of the Province.

    Bidders are invited to bid on all items listed in the ITT document.

    PNB intends to award to successful bidder(s) based upon meeting the mandatory requirements listed herein and the lowest cost to the department for each item. The province intends on awarding to one or multiple vendor(s), if deemed in the best interest of PNB. The Department reserves the right to negotiate pricing, value added and other savings opportunities with the successful bidder at time of award and throughout the duration of the contract.

    Screen Printing and Embroidery Services discount flat rate will be required but will not be part of the evaluation process.

    DELIVERY & PRICE
    Vendors must be able to provide province-wide coverage at no additional charge.

    Vendors are requested to identify their delivery date and delivery after production date (if requested), in calendar days, upon receipt of an order; not to exceed 45 calendar days.

    Bidders are invited to submit their UNIT PRICE--the price for a single product within the Tender Item--under the 'Unit Price Including Discount' column. Vendors should then multiply their unit price by the 'Quantity/Unit' to calculate the 'Extended Price'. The 'Unit Price Including Discount' and 'Extended Price' should NOT include taxes.

    Only one unit price per item will be accepted. Alternate pricing per size will not
    be accepted and may be considered grounds for disqualification.

    Vendors should bid directly on the tender form and all shipping and fuel charges MUST be included in the UNIT PRICE.

    Vendors are required to provide Embroidery and Screen-Printing services at a discounted rate. Embroidery and / or Screen Printing designs may vary, therefore unit prices for all items listed should NOT include the embroidery and / or screen-printing costs.

    Bidders should note that the unit price takes into account that the products are to be sent FOB destination and includes freight, services, and fuel charges.

    Bidders are asked to provide a flat rate price list per item for both embroidery and screen printing services on items bid.
