    Description
    SCOPE
    Service New Brunswick (SNB) is looking to establish a Contract of Supply for Driver Examiner Uniforms on an as and when required basis.

    This contract will commence upon Contract Award to June 30, 2027, with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year terms upon agreement by both parties.

    OPTION YEAR PRICING
    Pricing will be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index (CPI). If a mutually agreed upon price cannot be reached GNB reserves the right to re-tender, re-award or delete the item(s) in question.

    SPECIFICATIONS
    See specifications in the item descriptions below. See attached sizing charts for reference.

    ALL button shirts, golf shirts, sweaters, ball caps, touques and 3-1 jackets (inner and outer shells) to have the White SNB Logo embroidered on the left chest side of the item. Please refer to the attached White Logo picture.

    The orange vest and raincoat to have the Black Logo embroidered on the left chest side of the item. Please refer to the attached Black Logo picture.

    ORDER PLACEMENT
    The successful bidder must inform SNB at the time of order placement when products are on back order and/or out-of-stock.

    If due to new product development or acquisition of new brands by the vendor, GNB reserves the right to accept substitute products of equivalent quality with better unit pricing during this contract. Any such product must be previously sampled and approved by GNB.

    The successful bidder shall not charge any restocking fees for goods ordered in error or otherwise returned to the Supplier.

    Establish return authorization and claim processing procedures for the return of defective or damaged goods acceptable to the client through e-mail, Internet portal, etc.

    SUBMITTALS
    For evaluation purposes, bidders should provide detailed specifications on the product being bid and sizing charts with their bid submission.

    DEFECTIVE/DAMAGED PRODUCTS
    Defective products will be returned to the Supplier to be replaced at no cost, including freight charges, to the Client.

    The Supplier must accept and process all claims within seven (7) business days of claim submission by Client for all items reported as damaged, defective, not received, or otherwise returned to the Supplier in the manner in which payment was received.

    SHIPPING & DELIVERY
    Shipping locations will include SNB locations throughout the Province, refer to the attached address list. The Province reserves the right to add or remove locations as required.

    The successful bidder is to deliver the goods upon receipt of an Official Order / Release against this Contract. (Subject to availability of materials)

    CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIA
    Bids will be evaluated per individual item. The intent is to award this contract to the lowest compliant bidder that submits the lowest pricing for the majority of the items required.

    Bidders should bid on ALL items to be considered for an award.

    Prior to contract award the lowest compliant bidder may be contacted to supply a sample of all items in all sizes in Men's and Women's at the Bidders expense as part of the evaluation process, and SNB may also conduct reference checks and reserves the right to contact other departments and agencies within GNB to obtain information on the bidder's past performance withing the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultation that are unsatisfactory to SNB, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the bidder's bid.

    HOW TO SUBMIT PRICING
    Bidders are to submit their UNIT PRICE-the pricing for a single product on the corresponding Pricing Sheet Item-under the 'Unit Price Including Discount" column. The 'Unit Price Including Discount" should NOT include taxes.

    Unit Pricing MUST include all shipping delivery costs.

    Unit Pricing MUST include pricing for the embroidery of logos.

    Unit Pricing for Pants MUST include hemming.

    Do NOT include HST in the prices quoted in this tender document.

    BIDDER QUESTIONS
    All inquiries should be received five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date; any inquiries received less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be guaranteed a response.
