IENB, Sheriff Services and Coroner Crests

SCOPE
The Department of Justice and Public Safety (JPS) is looking to establish an Estimated Quantity Contract for the supply and delivery of shoulder crest for duty uniforms for Sheriff Services, Coroner Services and, Inspection and Enforcement (IENB), on an as and when required basis.

This is a three (3) year contract with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods upon written agreement from both parties.

The quantities stated are an estimate made in good faith and may vary considerably. The Province reserves the right to purchase more of lesser amounts depending on requirements.

OPTION YEAR PRICING
Pricing will be subject to negotiation of a satisfactory contract price not to exceed the tendered price plus any published increase in the New Brunswick Consumer Price Index (CPI). If a mutually agreed upon price cannot be reached GNB reserves the right to re-tender, re-award or delete the item(s) in question.

SPECIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Please refer to the Item Descriptions below and the attached artwork.

Crests must be no smaller than 115mm length on the outside edge and 90mm width on the outside edge. Center crest 67mm length on the outside edge and 51mm width on the outside edge.

The Province of N.B. reserves the right to add additional items, which fall within the product category, during the term of the contract if deemed necessary by the province.

SHIPPING LOCATION
Sheriff Services, Coroner Services, and Inspection and Enforcement (IENB) - 12 McGloin St., Fredericton, NB.

DELIVERY DATE
Bidder is to deliver the goods to the required location on an as and when required basis within 21 business days upon receipt of an official release against this contract.

CONTRACT AWARD CRITERIA
This tender will be evaluated and awarded based on the overall lowest compliant bid which meets the required specifications.

Prior to award bidder may be asked to provide a sample of any or all product(s) as part of the evaluation process. The department may also conduct reference checks and reserves the right to contact other departments and agencies within GNB to obtain information on the bidder's past performance withing the previous five (5) years. Results from the aforementioned consultation that are unsatisfactory to the Department, in its sole and absolute discretion, will result in the disqualification of the bidder's bid.

HOW TO SUBMIT PRICING
Bidders are invited to submit their UNIT PRICE--the price for a single product within the Tender Item--under the 'Unit Price Including Discount' column. Bidders should then multiply their unit price by the 'Quantity/Unit' to calculate the 'Extended Price'. The 'Unit Price Including Discount' and 'Extended Price' should NOT include taxes.

All shipping/delivery charges MUST be included in the unit price.

All inquiries should be received five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date; any inquiries received less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date cannot be guaranteed a response.
