Description
The Municipality of the County of Kings, and the Towns of Kentville and Wolfville (Project Partners), intend to have designed and constructed a modern multi-faceted Regional Recreation Facility (Facility). The Town of Kentville is further intent on attaching a new (replacement) arena to the Facility (referred to together hereafter as the Complex). As the agent for the Project Partners, the Municipality is issuing this NRFP seeking responses from qualified design professionals (Professional Engineers / Architects) or qualified professional design firms to serve the Board as its Owner’s Representative (OR).
The following scope of services outlined in this NRFP is provided for the purpose of describing the general intent of the Project Partners. It is not intended to define a final or binding scope of work, but rather illustrate the anticipated services as currently identified. The final scope, roles, responsibilities, and deliverables will be subject to negotiation and formalization under a CCDC 31-2020E agreement or similar professional services contract. A CCDC31-202E Agreement has been included as Appendix B for information purposes only.
