Fire Services Review

1.) This RFP is an open competition to consultants who provide expertise in the planning and operation of Volunteer Fire Services. The selected Provider shall provide our Municipality with a review of our eleven (11) Volunteer Fire Services departments and a review of our overall Fire Service, including, but not limited to, support of volunteers, training, assessment of facilities and equipment, helping us plan for the future. 2.) Experience in Municipal Fire Services and within the Canadian Maritime Provinces is called for in some vital evaluation areas, including relevant references. It is recommended that providers with these areas of applicable experience take action to bid. 3.) This RFP requests a consulting project where the consultant's work will be due this fall, approximately three months or less after the bid closing. Further consultations and Q&A on your work with the owner are possible. At least one Presentation of the Provider's completed work shall be completed. 4.) This RFP is a Contract A no negotiation type solicitation. 5.) Proposals will be submitted electronically via email.
