Description
This is a negotiated Request for Proposal offering a three (3) years term with two (2) additional one (1) year options to renew. The Province is seeking qualified proponent(s) to provide Courier Services (Services). The Province has various materials that are required to be transported across the Province of Nova Scotia, including but not limited to mechanical parts, electrical parts, serialized materials such as licence plates, printed materials, legal documents, forms, envelopes and other miscellaneous requirements. The RFP includes the following Courier Services categories:
Category A: Scheduled courier services include services with defined pick up and drop off locations that are required on a regular and defined schedule.
Category B: Arranged pick up courier services include services with a defined pickup time and designated pick up location. These arranged pick up services do not include a scheduled / designated drop off location, the drop off location will be specified at the time the material is picked up.
Category C: On-demand courier services include unscheduled service requirements on a requested basis. These requests will commonly be short notice and may require a rapid response to transport critical documents between locations in a timely manner. The intention of this RFP is to select a qualified proponent(s) to enter into an Agreement to provide scheduled courier services, arranged pick up services and on-demand courier services for each of the following geographic zones:
Western Zone: Annapolis, Digby, Kings, Lunenburg, Queens, Shelburne and Yarmouth counties
North
