Guysborough Sidewalk Extensions

The Municipality of the District of Guysborough is seeking Tender Proposals for the Sidewalk Extension Project. The work under this project shall generally comprise but not necessarily be limited to provision of all labour, materials and equipment for this curb/gutter, sidewalk, storm sewer & culvert extensions project on Main Street, Queen Street, New Road and Green Street in Guysborough. Work included under this project consists of approximately 1300 metres of storm sewer, 25 new catch basins, 8 new manholes and adjustment of existing structures, 2650 metres of curb & gutter, 2620 metres of sidewalk, asphalt milling, asphalt resurfacing, infilling ditches, placement of topsoil & sod as well as some hydroseeding followed by extension of culverts along Main Street, Queen Street, New Road and Green Street in Guysborough. Sealed tenders plainly marked “Guysborough Sidewalk Extensions, Municipality of the District of Guysborough” will be received at the Office of the Municipality of the District of Guysborough at P.O. Box 79, 33 Pleasant St., Guysborough N.S., B0H 1N0 (Phone: (902)533-3508) until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023. Received Tenders will be date & time stamped upon delivery. The Municipality of the District of Guysborough reserves the right to reject any or all tenders, not necessarily accept the lowest tender, or to accept any tender which it may consider to be in the best interest of the Municipality. The Municipality also reserves the right to waive formality, informality, or technicality in any tender.
