    Description
    Sourcewell, a State of Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, is requesting proposals for Airfield Runway Materials, Services, and Related Solutions to result in a procurement solution for use by its Participating Entities. Sourcewell Participating Entities include thousands of governmental, higher education, K-12 education, nonprofit, tribal government, and other public agencies located in the United States and Canada. Sourcewell encourages the use of Small, Minority-owned, Women’s Business Enterprise, Veteran-owned Business Enterprise (S/M/WBE/VBE) suppliers both as prime and subcontractors and encourages the participation of these suppliers in the solicitation process. Only proposals submitted through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal will be considered. Proposals are due no later than August 4, 2026, at 3:30 p.m. Central Time, and late proposals will not be considered. 1. Sourcewell is seeking proposals for Airfield Runway Materials, Services, and Related Solutions, to include FAA and/or DoD compliant equipment and related supplies and services for the primary purpose of airfield repair, maintenance, and related activities, including but not limited to: a. Airfield marking materials and supplies such as paints, thermoplastics, and glass beads; b. Liquid or solid airfield deicer, and deicing services; c. Rubber removal agents; d. Firefighting agents such as aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF), alcohol-resistant AFFF (AR-AFFF), fluorine-free foam (F3), alcohol-resistant fluorine-free foam (AR-F3), biobased/soy-based fluorine-free foam, Purple K and Halotron; e. Transition-related services used by airfields and other agencies such as risk assessment, planning, engineering, consulting, design, implementation, legacy AFFF/AR-AFFF removal and foam system cleanout, PFAS-containing material handling, storage, transportation, disposal and/or destruction, environmental remediation, system modification, testing, compliance documentation, and certification support. Proposers may include directly related equipment, accessories, and services to the extent that they are complementary to the primary solutions being proposed.
