Town of Antigonish 2026 Asphalt Patching Project

Sealed quotes addressed to “Town of Antigonish, 274 Main Street, Antigonish, N. S.”, will be received up to 2:00 pm Friday, July 3rd , 2026, for the “Town of Antigonish 2026 Asphalt Patching Project”. Tender packages may be obtained at the Engineering Office at Town Hall, 274 Main St, Antigonish, N.S. The work can be generally described to include: The removal of approximately 5,000 square metres of asphalt on Town streets via milling machine, and the supply and placement of approximately 600 metric tonnes of hot asphalt pavement to areas identified for asphalt patching. Cold planning, trucking and placement of millings retained by the Town, disposal of remaining millings, and traffic control will form part of this Contract. Priority patches approximately 350 metric tonnes will form the committed base scope of work and will be completed under this Contract. The remaining approximately 250 metric tonnes will be completed in 2 sets of provisional patches only to the extent authorized by the Town, subject to available budget and final budget approval. Work areas include Main Street, Hawthorne St, James St, Church St, Fairview St, Highland Dr, St Mary’s St, Braemore Avenue, St Ninian, Court St, Xavier Dr, Bantry Lane, Chisholm Park, Martin St and College St.
