    Description
    The We'koqma'q First Nation is seeking proposals from qualified firms for a Feasibility and Design Project aimed at establishing multi-use pathways within our community. The purpose of this project is to enhance accessibility to essential services and supports, promote active lifestyles, improve safety for community members, and plan for incorporation into future multi-use pathways. The successful Proponent will be responsible for leading public engagement with the community and Band Council and preparing a feasibility study and detailed design for new multi-use trails in four areas within the community. The selected Proponent will work with We’koqma’q Band Council, Public Works Staff, community stakeholders to explore and develop concept drawings and detailed engineering drawings for new multi-use trails in four areas of the community. These areas are shown in Figures 1, 2 and 3 and include: • Gabriel Sylliboy Road to Reservation Road; • Reservation Road to the recently developed business centre along the Trans-Canada Highway; • Reservation Road to Gollin's Drive; and • Establishing a connection to the business centre and ball field area to Reservation Road.
