The OPS is in the process of implementing a number of digital initiatives (https://www.ontario.ca/page/ontario-digital-service-key-priorities) which will shift a significant amount of the workload out of the Kingston Data Centre and onto existing cloud platforms.
In order to maintain operational continuity for critical business solutions, ITS has developed a strategic procurement approach called Data Centre Management Services (DCMS) which is currently being implemented using a phased approach based on various existing contract end dates.
This RFB is an invitation to prospective Bidders to submit Bids for:
IBM Power Systems and Related Products;
for the provision of products and services, including but not limited to Maintenance Services, Support Services, transition services and reporting.
Contract duration
The estimated contract period will be 36 month(s).
