    Description

    ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS ONLY submitted through the Region’s Bids and Tenders website , HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.  Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., local time as established by the Research Council of Canada.

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This tender is for construction services for Northeast Vaughan WAter Servicing Jane Street Elevated Tank, as further set out in Appendix A - RFT Particulars (the “Deliverables”).

    MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: 

    • Any bids received from bidders who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR) certified, who have not obtained COR equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
    • Bidders must have significant experience and a successful track record in design and construction of Composite Elevated Tanks. Please see the Appendix A - RFT Particulars (the “Deliverables”) for further information.

    Bidders are invited to attend a non-mandatory virtual bidders meeting to be held of February 13, 2024 commencing at 1:00 p.m. Please refer to the Bidders meeting information in Bids and Tenders for the contact information.

    DEPOSIT: All Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $250,000.00 in the form of a digital Bid Bond from a recognized guarantee or surety company acceptable to the Region and authorized by law to do business in the Province of Ontario.  Bidders shall submit a digital Undertaking to Bond with their Bid. The Performance Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Estimated Contract Price.
