    Description

    This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The Corporation of the Town of Newmarket (the “Owner”) to prospective Respondents to submit proposals for the design and construction of a multi-use sport court at Proctor Park and Environmental Park.  Proctor Park is to have two dedicated pickleball courts and one mini-size basketball court. Environmental Park is to have a multi-use single court capable of accommodating volleyball, pickleball, and basketball. Each site will be turn-key with full detailed design, public consultation, and construction, Construction works for both projects may include concrete removal, sod removal, excavation, grading, stockpiling and reuse of topsoil (include protection of stockpile), berm development, asphalt surface, concrete surface and/or sidewalk, retaining walls (armour stone or sienna stone), tree spading and transplant, chain-link fencing, chain-link gates, basketball nets (backboards, rim, post, foundation), pickleball nets (net, post, foundations), sodding, line-painting, tree planting, shade structures, and site furniture.     as further described in Part IV of the RFP Particulars being (the “Deliverables”). In accordance with Section 3.6, this RFP is non-binding.
