Description
The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is a provincial Crown agency that reports to the Ministry of the Attorney General. The AGCO is responsible for regulating the alcohol, cannabis, gaming (land-based and online) and horse racing sectors in Ontario. More information can be found at https://www.agco.ca/about-us as well as in other pages in the “About the AGCO” menu.
The AGCO is seeking, through this RFB process, to retain one or more Vendors to assist the AGCO with services for information security breach assessment and response and other information security related services. The AGCO is considering multiple Vendors to ensure that there is sufficient capacity given the unpredictable nature of an active cybersecurity breach, and to ensure that Vendors have the appropriate skills and experience necessary for a particular assignment.
This work is anticipated to consist of two main areas of services:
• First, one or more Vendors may be retained to provide timely, ongoing information security breach assessment and response services where a breach, related threat, vulnerability or attack is identified, on an as-needed basis, as set out under Component A of the Deliverables Section 1.3.
• Second, Vendors may also be selected to conduct other security services on an as-needed basis as set out under Component B of the Deliverables Section 1.3.
Both areas of services may require provision of onsite support at AGCO offices, and through email, telephone and videoconference communication, as requested.
